Indium Corporation, which is a premier supplier when it comes to innovative materials solutions for electronics assembly and semiconductor packaging as well as thermal management applications, on August 11, 2026, officially announced the launch of a new manufacturing facility located in Mexico’s Guadalajara. Company executives, employees, and sales channel partners, along with local guests, came together to celebrate the achievement with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new manufacturing facility by Indium spreads across 1,230-square meters and will produce solder paste and cored wire as well as wave flux products for customers in the Americas along with worldwide markets. The production will first focus on the best-selling paste series from Indium Corporation – Indium8.9HF as well as Indium10.8HF. This is the first stage of the long-term manufacturing investment in Mexico by the company, with additional capabilities to follow as the facility expands to support demand from customers.
It is well to be noted that the new manufacturing facility by Indium at Guadalajara is anticipated to produce roughly 18–20 metric tonnes of solder paste every month at full capacity. The site will also have customer service and technical support teams, in addition to manufacturing and operational roles.
