In recent news, Tesla has apparently launched solar panel manufacturing operations at one of its U.S. manufacturing plants. The report said the Houston-area facility in Brookshire, Texas, commenced operations.
Tesla aims to build 100 GW of U.S. solar manufacturing capacity every year by 2028, the report says.
The new factory will be built alongside its Megapack megafactory located at Empire West Business Park.
Battery production at a large scale along with solar manufacturing
