New Manufacturing Plant in Slovakia by Vertiv Announced

Vertiv, a global leader when it comes to critical digital infrastructure, on September 28, 2026, announced a significant expansion with new manufacturing plant in Slovakia in the Nové Mesto nad Váhom campus, strengthening the commitment made by the company so as to support rising consumer demand throughout EMEA – Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

The investment toward the expansion in new manufacturing plant in Slovakia is a further major step in Vertiv’s long-term regional and global growth strategy that has already seen the company expand its manufacturing operations in Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Malaysia, Mexico as well as the United States. Together, these investments are anticipated to enhance the ability of Vertiv to go ahead and serve customers as the need for critical digital infrastructure accelerates throughout cloud, enterprise, and colocation as well as AI-driven environments.

Vertiv plans to increase its manufacturing footprint at the campus in Nové Mesto nad Váhom by roughly 22,000 square meters over the next 18 to 24 months. The expansion will boost production capacity in terms of power and switchgear as well as thermal management systems, such as advanced liquid cooling and power solutions intended for high-density AI as well as high-performance computing applications.

The project is not only about raising the production capacity but also about transforming Nové Mesto nad Váhom into a world-class, highly integrated manufacturing and technology campus that unites engineering expertise, operational excellence, and production capabilities in one ecosystem. This is expected to improve responsiveness to bespoke requests, accelerate delivery capabilities, and further strengthen the durability of Vertiv’s EMEA supply chain.

Says the president of Vertiv in EMEA, Paul Ryan, “As AI and other critical digital applications increase in the region, we continue to invest in our manufacturing capabilities across EMEA. The expansion of Nové Mesto nad Váhom will enhance our ability to support customers deploying increasingly critical digital infrastructure while further strengthening our capabilities for next-generation AI and high-performance computing applications. As organizations accelerate AI adoption, speed of deployment has become a critical competitive advantage. Reducing time-to-token, the time required to move from infrastructure deployment to business value generated by AI workloads, is becoming a key priority for customers. This investment further strengthens Vertiv’s ability to help bring critical power and cooling capacity online faster and at scale.”

It is worth noting that the project also has the potential to generate many new jobs when it comes to manufacturing, engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and technical as well as leadership roles between 2027 and 2029. The investment demonstrates the long-term commitment by Vertiv to developing the talent, skills, and expertise that are required to support the future of critical digital infrastructure.

Notably, Vertiv is committed to continuous learning and professional development as well as long-term career opportunities for our employees to fuel this growth. The company is also working on programs to drive talent attraction, workforce mobility, and broader community development within the region.

Says Chris Hales, VP of operations at EMEA, Vertiv, “We envision Nové Mesto nad Váhom as a world-class manufacturing campus where people, technology, and innovation come together to serve some of the most technically advanced customers and demanding applications in the market. This investment will strengthen our industrial capabilities while creating an environment where talent can grow, innovation can flourish, and operational excellence can thrive.”

The expansion of Nové Mesto nad Váhom further strengthens Vertiv’s role as a strategic partner for hyperscale and cloud providers, colocation operators, neocloud, and enterprise data centers, along with other mission-critical applications. It highlights the long-term investment by the company in expanding its manufacturing footprint throughout EMEA while supporting customers in deploying the power and thermal infrastructure that powers the next generation of digital services and AI factories along with high-density computing.
