Manufacturing Hub by Propel Integrates PLM, ERP Platforms

Manufacturing Hub highlighted the Summer 2026 release of Propel, which is the maker of the first product value management – PVM platform to revolutionise how manufacturers create, introduce, and service products.

Manufacturing Hub by Propel closes the gap between engineering and manufacturing, integrating PLM and multiple ERP platforms to create a seamless product connection across the product lifecycle.

For independent and specialized manufacturers, the transition from engineering to production remains a challenge. Manual re-entry of data and outdated bill of materials – BOMs as well as rigid custom integrations, add to costs and slow manufacturing ramp-up. Manufacturing Hub solves this head-on by proactively pushing affected items, BOMs, and manufacturer parts, as well as supplier data, to the ERP system as soon as the engineering change order – ECO has been approved in Propel.

Manufacturing Hub by Propel additionally guarantees that all data transfers are securely logged in accordance with audit requirements for regulated sectors, with direct assistance for FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and ISO 9001 compliance obligations. This end-to-end traceability speeds up analysis of root causes when issues arise, limits finger-pointing among engineering and operations, and encourages responsibility throughout the whole product thread. Manufacturing Hub by Propel is accessible on-premises or in the cloud, so it serves manufacturers where they are. It helps teams with one or many ERP solutions, including NetSuite, SAP, Oracle JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.

According to Eric Schrader, the Chief Product Officer at Propel, “Manufacturers lose enormous amounts of time and money when engineering changes don’t make it cleanly into production systems. Manufacturing Hub removes that friction entirely. Our approach is to enable a truly bidirectional product thread where operational data like component costs, lead times, and supplier status flows from the ERP back into Propel to enrich the engineering record. Teams should be building great products, not managing integrations.”

Manufacturing Hub by Propel is also driven by CLOVER, Razorleaf’s platform which drives the connectivity of Propel Design Hub to PDM systems, and is supported by Razorleaf, which is the integration technology partner of Propel. The Summer release expands the collaboration from the design side of the product lifespan into production, thereby offering manufacturers an established path from engineering to enterprise resource planning – ERP.
