On July 13, 2026, LITEON Technology revealed a planned investment of US$919 million to construct an advanced manufacturing facility in Texas at McKinney, which included US$108.5 million for the purchase of factory buildings.

Expected to result in at least 600 high-quality direct employment jobs, the project ranks as one of the largest private investments by McKinney to date. The investment further reinforces the presence of LITEON in North America while fostering opportunities for growth arising from the swift development of AI infrastructure along with energy-associated markets.

It is well to be noted that the advanced manufacturing facility in Texas’ McKinney is going to cover over 650,000 square feet and accommodate a wide range of manufacturing and operational as well as engineering activities.
