First Hydrogen Corp. announced that, in addition to its news releases dated February 23, 2026, and June 9, 2026, it has entered into a Definitive Agreement with Exodus Actuation Solutions Inc. – RoboticsCo has an array of patents and associated intellectual property, centred around advanced actuation, gearbox, and motor as well as robotics technologies. It is worth noting that RoboticsCo has 26 issued patents along with 10 patents pending that it owns or licences relating to its actuation gearbox as well as high-performance motor lines. These technologies have been evaluated and utilised effectively by robotics, automotive and packaging companies around the world.
The technologies from RoboticsCo are designed to meet critical performance needs when it comes to fast-growing robotics and automation markets, such as higher speed, torque density, efficiency, accuracy and dependability, at the same time as lowering power use, size, noise and total system expense. The advanced robotics technology and gearing designs are designed to minimize friction, enhance efficiency and back drivability and allow for smoother, more natural robotic motion.
Interestingly, the platform has been extensively developed and tested with over 500 motors and gearboxes manufactured and shipped and positive feedback from customers indicating superior performance and the capacity to facilitate new robotic applications.
The technologies have enormous potential in a broad range of robotics and automation as well as advanced motion-control uses. Potential applications consist of robotic arms and manipulators, humanoid and industrial robotics, collaborative robots, automated manufacturing and assembly, material handling, packaging and conveyance systems, precision motion control, and various other applications that demand compact high-performance and energy-efficient actuation. These solutions may improve efficiency, power density, back drivability, and affordability, leading to the creation and broader adoption of ever more advanced robotics technology when it comes to new and existing industries.
The global humanoid robotics market is estimated to reach about US$9 trillion by 2050 as it is adopted by households, agriculture, manufacturing, logistics and retail, according to RBC Capital Markets.
RBC says industry growth might help component manufacturers of critical robotic hardware, such as actuators, sensors and cameras, as these technologies are needed on a variety of robotic platforms and manufacturers.
The investment in RoboticsCo gives First Hydrogen access to exclusive technologies and intellectual property that could apply to several areas of the company’s operations. In the near term these technologies will be especially applicable to the hydrogen-as-a-service ecosystem from First Hydrogen and longer-term applications spanning manufacturing, energy infrastructure, and autonomous systems, as well as SMR-related research and operations.
The company is also pleased to announce the launch of its wholly owned subsidiary, First Humanoid Corp., which is dedicated to the advancement of AI and autonomous systems, along with next-generation humanoid and intelligent robotic technologies. First Humanoid will be the dedicated platform from the company for the holding, development and commercialisation of intellectual property and technologies relating to humanoid robotics and autonomous systems, as well as AI-enabled technologies.
Notably, First Hydrogen will acquire a 60% interest in RoboticsCo through the issuance of two million common shares of the company in phases and also financing $2 million in stages, subject to mutually agreed financial plans, for growth of the robotics company’s technology. The definitive agreement is subject to being accepted by the TSX Venture Exchange. In connection with the transaction, the Company shall pay a third party a finder’s and consulting fee in compliance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.
