Balflex and NRP Jones announced an amalgamation of U.S. operations on October 6, 2026. The transaction combines NRP Jones, an American manufacturer and distributor of hydraulic hose, fittings, and assemblies, with Balflex USA, the North American arm of global high-pressure hydraulic components manufacturer Balflex.
It is worth noting that the terms of the deal were not disclosed.
NRP Jones, which is based out of La Porte, Indiana, has established a position in North American hydraulics over 80 years, supported by domestic manufacturing, technical expertise, and a national network of distributors and representatives, with specific strength in specialty and oilfield applications.
Founded in 1963 in Porto, Portugal, Balflex combines the complementary advantages of an international manufacturer, which are a full hydraulics product line, global sourcing, and own manufacturing in both Portugal as well as Brazil, with a presence in over 50 countries. Notably, the two companies together manufacture on three continents.
With the amalgamation of U.S. operations, both the Balflex and NRP Jones brands and product lines are going to be fully supported. The combined group will offer customers of both companies a larger product catalogue, production in the United States, and also local technical support in the US, along with a more dependable global supply chain, offering greater availability and service when it comes to both sides of the Atlantic. Apparently, the products will continue to be manufactured as per the globally recognized standards such as SAE, EN, ISO, and API to guarantee consistency of quality and current OEM certifications.
