AME Elite Consortium Berhad, through its subsidiary Pentagon Land Sdn Bhd, confirmed that it will build a manufacturing plant for HYA Industry Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the local arm of Shanghai-listed Wuxi Hyatech Co., Ltd.
The manufacturing plant for HYA Industry Malaysia which sits on a 6.8-acre plot within the i-TechValley industrial park of AME Elite in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, will have a built-up area of about 220,000 square feet and shall be intended for the research, development and production of the aerospace components and medical orthopaedic implant forgings from Hyatech.
The Executive Director and Group CEO, AME Elite Consortium Berhad, Dylan Tan Teck Eng, said that “we are expanding our industrial space solutions to support integrated ecosystems for advanced technology industries. Hyatech’s selection of i-TechValley validates our capabilities to deliver mission-critical assets for high-precision operations.”
It is worth noting that Hyatech will use its high-precision technology in order to manufacture intricate parts for demanding industries. Apparently, when it comes to aerospace, its compressor blades are used in commercial aviation engines globally. In the healthcare market, Hyatech also applies these specializations in order to address the requirements of the global orthopaedic device market.
Interestingly, the new Johor manufacturing base is part of the wider US$70 million overseas expansion by Hyatech, which was announced in November 2025, which is going to see it establish operations in Malaysia as well as Singapore in order to support its global market expansion, enhance its supply chain capabilities, and bolster its precision manufacturing presence in the region.
