Garware Buys a Texas Medical Products Manufacturing Plant

Garware Fulflex said it has gone ahead and acquired a 300,000 square foot a Texas medical products manufacturing plant at Jacksonville, thereby expanding its manufacturing presence in North America.

The 30-acre Texas medical products manufacturing plant currently employs over 250 people and manufactures a range of medical products that are used by healthcare providers as well as patients throughout North America and various other markets, the company said.

The company stated that the facility has blow moulding, injection moulding, thermoforming, extrusion, assembly and quality systems, which will enhance its manufacturing capacity when it comes to healthcare organisations.

Garware Fulflex stated that the acquisition broadens its manufacturing presence in the United States and forms a part of its long-term strategy to establish a global healthcare manufacturing platform.

Diya Garware Ibanez, Chairperson, Garware Fulflex, commenting on the acquisition, said, “This acquisition represents a defining milestone in our journey to build a globally respected healthcare manufacturing company. The Jacksonville facility brings exceptional people, world-class manufacturing capabilities, and an important presence in the world’s largest healthcare market. Most importantly, we are proud to welcome more than 250 talented employees to the Fulflex family. Together, we will continue delivering high-quality medical products while investing in innovation, operational excellence, and long-term growth.”

It is well to be noted that the Jacksonville facility will expand the global manufacturing network of the company so as to give customers higher production capacity, technical knowledge, supply chain durability, and, of course, accessibility to the healthcare market in North America.
